About Stutter Navigator

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to help support the stuttering community by guiding members to resources that might help them in their journey to be the best version of themselves. Our goal is to help simplify the steps to find a speech language pathologist, educate the community about insurance regarding speech therapy, and motivate and inspire people through community stories.

How we do it?

Provide videos that explain how to find a Provider for some of the major insurance companies.
Build a community platform to share videos, comments, and messages with other people who stutter or have an interest in stutter-specific resources
Attend and host events about stuttering and provide a speaker’s bureau. Doug Shearer is available for speaking engagements for schools, special events, conferences, and more. If you would like more information or to schedule an engagement, please email Info@stutternav.org.
